How we can help

Three ways to work with Edama.

01

Recycle Your Organics

Recycle at our KAUST facility.

Send your organic waste to Edama’s composting facility at KAUST for recycling on a gate-fee basis. We assess your material and volumes, then agree acceptance requirements, delivery or collection arrangements and the service fee before the service begins.

02

Design, Build and Operate

Develop a composting site at your location.

Engage Edama for consultancy, or work with us as your partner to design, build and operate a composting site at your premises. We shape the project around your organic waste, site and objectives, with the scope, responsibilities and required approvals agreed for each project.

03

Small-scale composting systems

Bring composting to your premises.

We supply systems for establishments that want to recycle organic waste on site. The proposed system and support are matched to your material, volumes, space and operating team.

    Assess the requirements

We review the material, site and operating needs with you.

  3. 03

    Agree the proposal

Define the deliverables, responsibilities, timing and commercial terms.

  4. 04

    Deliver the work

Recycling at KAUST, consultancy, site development and operation, or system supply, with support as agreed.

Practical questions

Before you get started.

01Can we send our organic waste to KAUST?

Yes, subject to material assessment and confirmation of service arrangements. Edama offers organic waste recycling at its KAUST facility on a gate-fee basis. Share your waste type, location, estimated quantity and delivery frequency so we can assess your requirements and provide a proposal.

02What does the gate fee cover?

The gate fee is the agreed charge for receiving and recycling accepted organic material. Your proposal sets out the fee, acceptance conditions and whether collection or transport is included or arranged separately.

03Can we engage Edama for consultancy only?

Yes. Advice on organic waste recycling infrastructure is available as a standalone service, with objectives and deliverables agreed for your project.

04How do we choose a composting system?

Start with the type and amount of organic waste, available space and who will operate the system. We review these requirements before proposing a system. Estimates are useful if measured volumes are not yet available.

05Who operates and maintains the system?

Responsibilities are agreed for each project. Any installation, training, maintenance or ongoing operating support included in Edama’s offer is stated in the proposal.

06Can Edama arrange collection or process our waste?

This depends on the material, location, volume and available service options. We assess suitability and agree collection or delivery responsibilities before confirming the service.

07What if we are still planning the establishment?

You can contact us at the planning stage. Share the intended activities, location and what you would like to achieve. You do not need a complete operating plan to enquire.
